Broadway Book Club… Today! – Landing Page

Co-hosts Brenda Jean Foley & Will Rogers invite you to join them
as they try to make sense of their lives in this topsy- turvy upside down time using Musical Theatre as their lens.
What does That Mean? Errrr...
It is like current events in Bowler Hats. Errrr... It is like Therapy with Jazz Hands. Just come and see for yourself. Good Time uaranteed.

WHAT DOES MY STORY LOOK LIKE?
Local powerhouse Jaqueline Castillo (co-founder of United Colours of Arizona Theatre) joins us this month to talk about the face of musical theatre and how it’s changing – for the better!

Hosted by BRIDGE CORE artists
BRENDA JEAN FOLEY (AEA) & WILL ROGERS FOLLIES (the musical)

COVID PROTOCOLS will be strictly observed at all events.

More about BROADWAY BOOK CLUB…TODAY!

Do you love musical theater? Do you love lively conversation and world-class talent? Maybe you have never seen a musical but you think you could grow to love them? Then, this is the place for you.

These monthly meetups are part book club, part talk show, part news magazine, and completely TODAY! Every month, we will gather at the beautiful, historic ASU Kerr to discuss the artistic, cultural and emotional impact musical theater has on all of us, whether you’re aware of it or not. And of course we will delight in the musical gifts brought by the glorious live music from our guest singers and musical director.

NOTE: Because ASU Kerr has a longer history than the local pavement, using the street address in an online map may or may not put you on the right path. Please use the map in the link below to drive the last few yards to the venue!

Building Bridges @ ASU Kerr is produced by The Bridge Initiative in collaboration with ASU Kerr and funded in part by a grant from Scottsdale Arts.

The Bridge Initiative is dedicated to making sure our events and programming are accessible to everyone. To that end, tickets for Building Bridges @ ASU Kerr are Pay-What-You-Wish. We invite audience members to choose from one of the suggested price levels, while keeping in mind that the higher the ticket price you select, the more bridges we can build.

*Artists subject to change, although they never have in the history of this program. Okay, maybe this program hasn’t launched yet so there is nothing on which to base that. But the good news is…we aren’t liars. However, we do live in COVID times and, unannounced, we all have to deal with spontaneous emotional, logistical, physical, metaphorical, and sometimes literal shitshows. If at anytime we do have to switch featured artists, speakers, and experts, we promise to switch them out with someone else equally amazing. Now take a deep breath
