HER VOICE – October 2018

Her Voice 2018-19 continues with a FREE professional reading of

THE TRAUMA BRAIN PROJECT

by Dayle Ann Hunt

Sunday, October 14th at 4PM at the ASU Kerr Cultural Center

DIRECTOR: Alaina Beauloye

CAST: Taylor Moschetti, Thommi A’mal, Christi Sweeney

SYNOPSIS:  The Trauma Brain Project is a unique theatrical narrative that brings together three powerful communities — the theatre, the practice of body-centered therapy, and the neurology/medical fields — in a joint effort to raise awareness, break the silence, and give voice to the often voiceless women and girls who are dealing with the hidden effects of trauma.

TRIGGER WARNING: Subject matter deals with childhood trauma and sexual abuse.

Please note… We are privileged to welcome playwright Dayle Ann Hunt to Arizona for this reading. Though The Trauma Brain Project has been presented multiple times, we will be the FIRST to hear a brand new, reworked version of the script.

PLEASE RSVP. We are doing concessions for the first time and a head count will be extremely helpful! Click here.
